FAQ'S
- Does my horse or pony have to be nominated for the futurity before he or she is born?
NO it does not, OPtHA Futurity is an "Open" futurity in which you may enter your horse or pony up to the date of your class. Please See RULES for other requirments.
- What if I'm the only entry in my class?
Futurity classes are non-point earners, so it is our policy to run the class no matter what the number of enteries are.
- When is the Futurity?
The OPtHA Halter Futurity is held Annually during the OPtHASummer Classic held in Albany, Oregon the first weekend of August . The OPtHA Performance Futurity is held Annually during the OPtHA Poor Pumpkin held in Albany, Oregon the 3rd weekend of October.
- If my horse or Pony is breeding stock can I still enter the classes?
YES! OPtHA Futurity has Breeding Stock Classes in Halter and Performance.
